Meet the Team


Eleanor Image, Play Development ManagerEleanor

Eleanor joined the PATH team in 2003 and has worked on lots of different projects, whether that's playing on estates, training playworkers and parents, managing an Adventure Playground or doing community play outreach work they all involve advocating for children's play. Currently managing PATH Eleanor is fundraising for new exciting projects and enjoying managing Healthy Cities and the great team of playworkers.

Majeda Begum, Finance and Administration Officer

Majeda joined the PATH team in 2005 and currently manages the finance and administration areas of the organisation.  Having previously worked as a Receptionist at a community centre she joined the team as an Admin Assistant and evolved her role capacity to include areas of HR and IT as well as attending PATH's Playwork Basics training to gain better understanding of play and playwork.

Khalida Begum, Project Support Worker

Khalida joined PATH in June 2017. Her ambition is to be able to make a difference in peoples lives by getting them involved in the community. She has previous experience in running her own Parents Forum, and is determined to help PATH build a network of parents, and children who love playing outside. Her aim is to make parents aware of the amazing work PATH delivers, so we can all play a part in bringing back fun and creating a memorable childhood.

Panda Gavin, Playworker 

Panda has been a playworker with PATH for 2 years working on different sessions around the borough. Panda did a Community Play Coordinator role from Jan 2016 - March 17 that involved taking loose parts into school and saw imaginary play increase during lunch time. Panda is the PATH social media expert and brings a playful attitude to the sessions.

Portia Louis, Playworker

Portia started at PATH as a playworker soon in 2015 and from Jan 16 - March 17 stepped up to a new Community Play Coordinator role. Part of this role involved delivering play training for local parents, sharing play memeories and checking out new places to go. Portia brings playful activities for all ages and a smile to the sessions she works on.

Habiba Begum, Playworker

Habiba started volunteering with PATH in 2006 before becoming a paid playworker working on estate based and inclusive play sessions. She has moved on to different full time work but misses playwork and is still with us working some weekends.

Inga Krzywakowska, Playworker

Inga started at PATH in 2004 as an experienced playworker, bringing her skills to inclusive and estate based play sessions. Now working at Phoenix school she stays with PATH for after school play session and is our queen bubble maker.

Nazuma Bibi, Playworker

Nazuma attended playwork training delivered by PATH in 2005 and learnt she wanted to be a playworker. Being a Mum and a Tower Hamlets resident for many years she brings local knowledge and can tell other Mums to leave the housework and come out to play.

Hannah Wheeler, Playworker

Starting with PATH in 2008 Hannah has worked on lots of PATH sessions as well as being an experienced Feldenkrais teacher, these days you will find Hannah playing around Mile End bringing outdoor and indoor creative play to the sessions.

Kitty Schuchard

Kitty worked at PATH for over 10 years before leaving in 2015 but found that imaginative, creative outdoor play on various Tower Hamlets estates called her back and she now balancing work with PATH as well as following her creative talents.

Momtaj Abedean, Playworker

Momtaj supports children in a Tower Hamlets school during term time, an expert in early years she stays with PATH and gets to play during holiday and weekends.

Charlie Caplan-Wilson, Playworker

Charlie started at PATH in 2015, now a graduate of Circus Space Charlie shares her somersaulting and hand standing skills on play sessions in Poplar and Mile End.

Esther Sealey, Playworker

A 2016 addition to the PATH team Esther also works at Glamis Adventure Playground, keen to try new things Esther works on Thursdays and Fridays bringing with her a musical nature and a very special and useful bike.

Andrea Alves, Playworker

Andrea started with PATH in 2016, an amazing artist and maker she is keen to learn and to share her skills with children, young people and parents on play sessions.

Enfys Walker, Playworker

Enfys has been at PATH since 2012 bringing lots of bouncy energy and activities to sessions she works on, currently a student in Wales she works in holidays bringing years of expertise in camping to the PATH summer camps.

Tim Gill, Volunteer

Tim has been volunteering as a playworker with PATH since 2013 getting involved with both indoor and outdoor play in Mile End. Tim has years of experience writing, thinking , researching and evaluating play and playwork travelling as far as Australia to share the UK playwork ethos.
